Foreseeing Solutions, LLC was founded in 2002 by principal owner Mika Babcock.

Mika graduated with a fine arts degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA. After graduating, Mika went to work for his father, Bert Babcock, an independent bookseller specializing in modern first editions. In 2000, Mika helped launch his father’s first website and online bookstore (www.babcockbooks.com). Soon after, several other booksellers expressed interest in a website, and Mika setup several more online bookstores. Eventually, the software used to carve these early renditions, was discarded and replaced by new technology developed by Mika in 2002. That new technology would evolve into the foundation and framework that Foreseeing Solutions still uses today.

Mika has been developing websites since 1999, and has accumulated vast amounts of experience working on large industry sites, such as the New York State Lottery, Frito Lay, Dannon Yogurt, Jose Cuervo, Philips, Guinness, Neutrogena, Johnson & Johnson, as well as a host of big pharmaceutical websites. While Foreseeing Solutions continues to work with many different industries, Mika has maintained an unwavering, genuine passion and enthusiasm for the book industry, which is why he has devoted much time and energy to developing solutions that help independent and rare booksellers to succeed online. It is this genuine love for bookselling that has made Foreseeing Solutions as successful as it is today as a leading provider of web solutions for booksellers.    Resume
